    We are seeking a future-focused Compensation Consultant to be responsible for designing, supporting, and administering compensation programs that align with business objectives and help attract, retain, and reward talent. This role provides strategic compensation consultation to key organizations, translates data and market insights into actionable recommendations, and uses technology, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to support business decisions and improve outcomes.

    What You’ll Do

    • Supports the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs aligned to business goals, including base pay, incentive plans, equity programs, and other reward practices.

    • Provides compensation consultation to HR partners, business leaders, and client organizations to support talent attraction, retention, and business strategy.

    • Analyzes compensation data, market trends, salary surveys, and internal workforce insights to identify patterns, assess competitiveness, and recommend program enhancements.

    • Develops executive-ready materials that translate complex compensation analyses into clear recommendations, decision points, and business narratives.

    • Ensures compensation practices comply with applicable country, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including FLSA and wage and hour requirements.

    • Leverages technology, data tools, and AI-enabled insights to improve processes, reporting, analysis, and business outcomes.

    • Supports compensation-related processes including job evaluations and pricing, organization design, annual merit administration, salary recommendations, salary surveys, retention administration, project management, and process improvement.

    What You’ll Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.

    • Seven or more years of related compensation, HR, finance, consulting, or business experience.

    • Experience with compensation strategy, market pricing, job evaluation, pay administration, incentive plans, and salary structures.

    • Working knowledge of compensation-related compliance requirements, including FLSA and wage and hour regulations.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.

    • Ability to create executive-ready presentations, reports, business cases, and decision-support materials.

    • Technology fluency, including spreadsheet, reporting, data visualization, HRIS, compensation planning, and AI-enabled tools.

    • Strong consultation, communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Certification may be required or preferred in some areas.

    Our Principal Comp Consultant jobs earn between $143,800.00 - $215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
