Automation Strategy Leader

Lead the development and execution of the organization's automation and controls strategy.
Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing automation systems to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Develop and maintain controls architecture standards across the operation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, equipment performance, and operational excellence.
Provide technical leadership on automation projects from concept through implementation and startup.
Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities.
Troubleshoot complex controls and automation issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend automation solutions that support business objectives.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering and manufacturing teams.

8+ years of Controls and Automation Engineering experience.
Strong experience within a manufacturing environment; industry background is flexible.
Demonstrated expertise in automation systems, controls architecture, and industrial control technologies.
Proven ability to lead automation improvements and complex engineering initiatives.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
A proactive mindset with a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
