What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end discovery planning and execution, including charter development, milestone tracking, budgeting, resource management, and regular status reporting to client leadership.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the client project sponsor, managing relationships across all stakeholder and vendor groups, coordinating knowledge transfer schedules, and facilitating interviews and business process walkthroughs.
- Drive the analysis and classification of application features, business rules, workflows, and domain context through stakeholder engagement, usage data, and collaboration with Solution Architects.
- Own the production of all discovery deliverables, including discovery reports, execution plans, and executive readout presentations, ensuring all artifacts are organized for seamless handover to execution teams.
- Orchestrate alignment across multiple parallel workstreams by formalizing dependencies, coordinating shared activities, and ensuring consistency in findings and approach.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and blockers, escalating promptly to keep the engagement on track.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting, delivery management, or business analysis roles
- Proven experience leading discovery or assessment engagements for complex enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of technology that is sufficient to engage meaningfully with the Solution Architect and interpret technical findings
- Excellent facilitation and interviewing skills, and able to run structured workshops and elicit information from technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong executive communication skills, and able to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Experience creating team sizing models and execution roadmaps for multi-stream delivery programs
- Proficiency with discovery and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or equivalents)
Nice to Haves
- Certification in Agile delivery (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) or business analysis (CBAP, AAC)
- Experience with AI-augmented SDLC practices and understanding of how AI tooling impacts delivery planning
- Experience with legacy application modernization programs, including migration planning and phasing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to extract business rules and domain knowledge from stakeholders and undocumented legacy systems
- Experience with vendor transition or vendor exit programs
- Background in quality engineering or SDLC process improvement
- Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks
