This role leads the end‑to‑end electrical design of connected fitness hardware, from early architecture and component selection through production and lifecycle support. The position owns the entire electrical engineering function, working closely with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable consumer products. Client Details The client is an innovative connected‑fitness company that blends advanced hardware, immersive digital content, and intuitive software to deliver a premium at‑home training experience, while fully owning and leading the entire electrical design function across its product portfolio. DescriptionThe Principal Electrical Engineer with be responsible for: Lead electrical design work, including schematics, PCB layout, and BOM ownership.Diagnose and resolve electrical issues across development, production, and field returns.Partner with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams to improve system performance.Support production builds, test processes, and on‑site troubleshooting with global manufacturing partners.Contribute to reliability, cost‑reduction, and design‑for‑manufacturability initiatives.Prepare hardware for regulatory testing and support EMC and safety certification for U.S. and EU markets.Build, test, and validate prototypes while documenting findings and driving engineering improvements.
