A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Principal Electrical Engineer.

Position type: Full Time, Contract
Duration: 7 months with possible extension
Location: Melbourne, FL
 
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
  • Troubleshoot HW & SW solutions
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach
  • Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment (e.g., documenting something that is already built)
  • Support automated test software development
  • Review, and verify automated test procedures that will drive software changes required to support operations
  • Present project / technical status to peers, internal management, and customers.
  • Digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies and electronic loads.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Have good communication, documentation, and collaboration/teamwork skills
  • Software development experience/proficiency – LabView and/or C# is a plus
  • Must be able to read electronic schematics
  • Must have experience working on RF (Radio Frequency) devices
  • Have domain knowledge of avionics products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
  • MSUT HAVE Test Stand and LABVIEW certification or trainings.
  • Experience working with BOTH the hardware and software.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70 to $80 Per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
