Principal Electro-Mechanical Build & Test Technician

This role is about taking full ownership of complex electro-mechanical products—from hands-on build through integration, test, fault isolation, and delivery.

Your Mission

• Construct sophisticated electro-mechanical assemblies and integrate complete systems
• Execute mechanical build, cable routing, electrical wiring, and component placement
• Handle motors, actuators, sensors, connectors, and related hardware with care and precision
• Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to guide work
• Conduct functional tests and confirm performance against acceptance criteria
• Investigate and resolve electrical, mechanical, and system-level faults
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause determination with minimal supervision
• Carry out rework, repair, adjustments, and modifications to meet spec
• Collaborate directly with engineering to eliminate build and production obstacles
• Surface documentation, process, and design issues; recommend actionable improvements
• Own assigned products through build, test, troubleshooting, and final release

What Sets You Up for Success

• 5+ years as an electro-mechanical technician (preferred)
• End-to-end experience building/integrating/testing/repairing complex equipment
• Blend of mechanical aptitude and practical electrical/electronic debug skills
• Proven independence in diagnosing issues and implementing fixes
• Hands-on familiarity with assemblies, wiring/terminations, motors, actuators, and sensors
• Comfort reading mechanical prints and electrical schematics
• Competence with electrical test equipment and common mechanical measurement tools
• Ability to thrive amid evolving documentation and ambiguous troubleshooting paths
• Uncompromising attention to detail and quality
