Principal Engineer-Data Science needed by Verizon in Alpharetta, GA . DUTIES: Design, build, and run a centralized customer experience (CX) infrastructure that provides an understanding of customer experiences across various channels. Design, build and implement Voice of the customer (VoC)data architecture and data engineering in partnership with GTS, AI, and Vendors. Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure customer experiences that are highly correlated to Net Promoter Score (NPS). Create and maintain executive level and user-friendly CX dashboards that are visually effective and factually accurate. Enhance and supplement the experience storyboards by combining analytics, reports, data, and feedback from existing assets generated by other channels, CMI and finance. Develop and present executive readouts of baseline performance of CX Journey experiences, performance trends and anomalies. Lead the design and build of large and complex data sets from spurious sources while thinking strategically about the uses of data and how data use interacts with data design. Enable the CX organization to lead from a customer-centric position, by generating a comprehensive view of the full customer journey, as well as the ability to obtain deep, granular insight on what is driving customer experience and NPS. Work with processes and tools involving technical product management, business intelligence, and data architecture, data analysis, SQL, Tableau Desktop, and Teradata. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Architect, Data Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years of experience in technical product management, business intelligence, data architecture, data analysis, and using SQL, Tableau Desktop, and Teradata.
