Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell Technology is seeking a highly motivated, talented and strategic Principal Engineer. You will be part of dynamic Test Engineering team working on most advanced technologies including Custom ASIC, Cloud, Server & Network Processor. You will lead Product and Test Engineering planning, cost modeling, and operational execution for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. This role will be responsible for driving RFI/RFQ sizing activities, developing OpEx and CapEx estimates, coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts, and optimizing product qualification and test processes across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
What You Can Expect
Product & Test Engineering Planning
Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management
Develop CapEx estimates and planning models for Product and Test Engineering requirements.
Determine and estimate:
Load board costs
Probe card costs
Socket requirements
Qualification hardware needs
Module and wafer quantities required for validation, verification, and qualification
Optimize capital investments while maintaining technical and schedule requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with cross-functional teams including:
Operations Engineering
Marketing
Sales
Design Engineering
DFT (Design for Test)
Product Engineering
Test Engineering
Collaborate with Finance teams to determine cost-per-unit models and support business case analysis.
Work with sourcing and procurement teams to obtain vendor quotations, negotiate technical requirements, and support supplier evaluations.
Coordinate with engineering stakeholders to define probe test and final test flows for production readiness.

What We're Looking For
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
138,400 - 204,800, $ per annum
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
