Job Responsibilities:

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.

The Principal System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip.

Your Responsibilities

Expert in System hardware and software architecture focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC).
Expert in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5
Experts in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems.
Proficient in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements.
Expert in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design.
Architecture Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components.
In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems.
Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analyzing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems.
Collaborating with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product.
Expert in communication and negotiation with customers and suppliers.

Who we are looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills (Master's preferred)

Experience

Minimum of 10 years deep and relevant experience in the System hardware and software architecture.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in high-performance computing systems-on-chip.
Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products

Your preferred qualifications

Deep and comprehensive knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
Deep knowledge of the automotive software development process, experience with SOC a plus
Demonstrated decision making capability with a strong technical background
Hands on approach when required
Strong technical background. Understands needs of systems, optics, electrical, mechanical and software engineers for successful product execution
Comprehensive working knowledge of configuration management, project planning, monitoring and control techniques (PMP certification a plus)
Able to lead and motivate a diverse, global team
Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
Excellent communication skills to all internal and external interfaces
Travel (domestic and international) may be needed
Positive attitude and self-motivated under all working conditions (thrives under pressure)
Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
Comprehensive knowledge of English
