What You’ll Do
As a Principal Experience Designer, you will spearhead the development of digital experience standards and steer strategic design initiatives across complex product portfolios. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and key stakeholders, you will craft seamless, personalized patient and customer journeys that align with business goals and regulatory standards. Your expertise will enable innovative experimentation, balancing user needs with organizational priorities, while mentoring junior designers to elevate the entire team’s craft. You will champion the value of UX/UI and CX design in achieving enterprise objectives and advocate for best practices that inspire continuous improvement.

Required Skills
  • Over 10 years of experience, including 7+ years in experience design, UX, or product design roles.
  • Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of digital products from conception to impact measurement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and evangelize design strategies to senior leaders.
  • Deep understanding of user research, prioritization, and defining measurable performance objectives.
  • Experience working in agile environments and applying best practices.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations in healthcare or related industries.
  • Mentorship experience, with a track record of coaching and developing talent.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA or relevant graduate qualifications.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with design systems, automation tools, and workflow management.
  • Proven success leading complex projects that integrate strategic planning and operational execution.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, operations, science, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with a focus on experience or product design.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate within evolving environments and foster experimentation.

Other Requirements
  • On-site work schedule: three days in the office, two remote.
  • Willingness to participate in a three-round interview process via video, including portfolio presentation.
  • Ability to navigate regulatory requirements and partner effectively with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams.
