Summary:
We are seeking a highly engaged and action-oriented Principal HRIS analyst to drive solutions in our HR tech stack. In this role, you will be configuring Workday to bring automation and innovation to our processes. You will work directly with the HR organization and leaders throughout the business to design, plan, test and implement changes. We are looking for a trusted professional who values the responsibility of safeguarding sensitive data and approaches every system change with thoughtful precision and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, testing, implementation, and administration of the Workday Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other HR technologies.
- Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company's internal/external audit controls and compliance practices.
- Support twice-annual upgrades and annual HCM processes, such as performance, calibration, and compensation review.
- Maintain day-to-day HRIS operations across the modules to support system governance and performance.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the business and end users via cases and tickets logged in Workday Help and the Request framework.
- Proactively monitor new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, and integration events.
- Lead and manage assigned projects: plan, design, build, test, release, learn.
- Create and maintain end-user training documentation.
- Act as subject matter expert for system enhancements.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
- 4+ years hands-on configuration experience in two or more modules in addition to Payroll.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis skills
- Highly proficient in creating and editing business processes, custom reports and dashboards.
- Ability to quickly assimilate to new projects or information and stay organized throughout multiple priorities.
- Able to write technical matters clearly and verbally restate complex issues in an effective manner for the audience.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship and communication skills to collaborate and guide users and project team members.
- Demonstrate priority setting, business acumen, project planning and composure under pressure.
Preferred Requirements:
- Workday PRO Certified
- Ability to create BIRT, composite and trended reports
- Prior module and/or full system implementation experience
