Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the overall indirect tax planning strategy for multiple global businesses.
  • Stay informed on the latest changes in tax laws and evaluate their impact on relevant businesses.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and accounting teams to align tax planning with the company"s broader business objectives.
  • Prepare detailed tax planning recommendations and proposals, presenting them to senior leadership for approval.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to identify and manage tax risks on projects.
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved tax planning strategies, ensuring proper documentation and execution.

A day in the life

In this strategic tax advisory role, your day will be filled with opportunities to support business and product launches through comprehensive tax planning and consultation. You will work closely with business teams to shape product strategy and development, ensuring that indirect tax guidance is integrated from the outset. Your responsibilities will include understanding VAT/GST compliance, controllership, and audit requirements, drafting tax requirements documentation for new products and services, and leading global tax coordination efforts with regional subject-matter experts. You will conduct pre-launch testing and validation from a tax perspective, provide regular updates to tax leadership, and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches across multiple geographies.
