Principal IT Analyst

A prominent global manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced professional to bridge the gap between Financial Operations and Information Technology. This key role will provide comprehensive support for financial systems and spearhead digital transformation projects. You will be instrumental in stabilizing, enhancing, integrating, and continuously improving financial applications. The position involves close collaboration with finance leadership, business process owners, IT architecture, and external partners.

In this influential position, you will lead pivotal projects within the Finance department focusing on system implementations, integrations, upgrades, acquisitions, and process enhancement. Your strategic insight will be crucial in assessing new technologies and managing enterprise applications to ensure that financial systems meet the evolving demands of a global enterprise. **Core Responsibilities:**
- Act as the primary connection between Finance stakeholders, Business Process Owners, and IT to support financial systems.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership to translate changing business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and documentation of business requirements for system improvements and new technology initiatives.
- Lead change management initiatives that enhance system usability and optimize user experience.
- Oversee a portfolio of IT projects supporting Finance, covering all stages from planning to post-deployment support.
- Assess and recommend enterprise software solutions and innovative technologies for Finance transformation.
- Participate in software evaluations and vendor assessments to ensure optimal implementation and partner selection.
- Work with Enterprise Architecture and IT teams to design and implement secure systems and integrations.
- Develop integration documentation and maintain operational procedures.
- Monitor the performance and availability of Finance applications, ensuring system health.
- Plan and execute software upgrades and manage platform maintenance and release activities.
- Communicate system changes and business impacts to stakeholders and leadership.
- Oversee system certificates, licensing, and technology renewal requirements.
- Support mergers and acquisitions by integrating financial systems and standardizing technologies.
- Promote continuous improvement to enhance system reliability and operational excellence.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Computer Information Systems, Finance, or related areas.
- Over 6 years of experience in supporting Enterprise Finance systems and IT analysis.
- Proven track record of leading technology projects and software implementations.
- Proficient in supporting SaaS, cloud platforms, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes and enterprise applications.
- Experience in audit, governance, compliance, and control environments.
- Exceptional project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive and highly motivated individual with a capacity to adapt to new technologies quickly.
