Principal

Shepherd of the Hills is seeking an experienced Catholic school principal to lead its students, families, and staff. Students in grades 3K-8 grade grow spiritually, academically and socially with extraordinarily caring and experienced faculty. The principal serves as the spiritual and academic leader of the school, coach, and mentor to faculty and staff. The position is also an integral part of the school and parish leadership team and will contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and policies in alignment with the school's mission and aligned with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Schools.

• Manages, evaluates, and supervises the policies and procedures of the school, in union with parish procedures and policies, in order to carry out the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the parish school.
• Ensures a safe, orderly environment that encourages high standards and student responsibility and creates a high morale among staff and students.
• Supervises the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes on a regular basis.
• Manages and oversees the development and implementation of curriculum, where necessary, including the selection of instructional materials and equipment, approving all recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Educational Administration
• Valid Teaching License (State of WI preferred)
• Practicing Catholic with ability to participate in sacramental life of Church
