Position OverviewLeads Common Factory Test Platform (CFTP) improvement activities, upgrades, and capital budgeting within the Operations Engineering directorate. Works across Engineering, Supply Chain/Procurement, Test Equipment Engineering, Program Operations Management, and Factory Leadership to develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for upcoming projects, induct new test equipment, and manage factory layout.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary interface to the Program Operations Office, Factory Technical Directors, Factory Managers (FM), PTE Section Manager, and Operations Engineering.Owner of capital Test Equipment upgrades (TEMA) and coordination across factories.Accountable for coordinating and leading continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.Interface with Strategic Make Center (SMC) Managers to execute and course‑correct A3 project performance from inception through gate review closure.Manage and attend TEMA review boards (TRB) for all factories; provide execution and status updates to all parties.Provide inputs into the Test Equipment Investment Strategy, Vision, Strategy, and Initiatives, and Test Equipment Roadmap.Collaborate across multi‑disciplined engineering teams to identify best solutions to existing capital equipment challenges.Oversee and influence a team of Engineers to accomplish TEMAs and A3s.Manage the CFTP budget and course‑correct as needed.Act as a technical and test process subject‑matter expert (SME).Qualifications You Must HaveDegree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of related experience.Demonstrated experience leading a project or team.Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.Knowledge of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance requirements.Familiarity with metrics and status reporting (EAC, EVMS, BXR, etc.).Preferred QualificationsExperience executing TEMAs.Technical writing experience.Leadership of teams or projects.Lean manufacturing experience.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems.Knowledge of product and test environment.Current DoD security clearance required.Security Clearance RequirementsActive and transferable DoD clearance (Secret) is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Ability to obtain an interim clearance is also required.BenefitsSalary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
