What You’ll Work On

  • ️ Aerospace robotics systems
  • End-effectors / end-of-arm tooling
  • Tooling + fixturing
  • ️ Automation hardware (actuators, motion systems, assemblies)
  • Design reviews, problem-solving, system optimization

What You Need

  • 10+ years in mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
  • ️ 6+ years in aerospace automation
  • 6+ years in aerospace tooling/fixturing
  • Strong CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Deep GD&T + DFM/DFA expertise
  • Robotics/automation system experience
  • Must be able to get clearance

Big Plus

  • End-effector design experience
  • FEA / simulation
  • CATIA or PDM systems
  • BOM creation + production documentation
  • Startup / build-mode experience

The Right Personality

This one matters.

Willing to teach and mentor

Environment

  • Austin
  • Flexible start: 7–9 AM
  • Hands-on, build-focused culture

Why It’s Interesting

  • Real systems not theoretical work
  • High ownership + visibility
  • Direct impact on engineering direction
  • Work with a team actively building and scaling

️ Non-Negotiables

Must be in Austin or relocate quickly (1–2 months)

Must have real industry experience (not academic-only)
