  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including piping, electrical, structural, and project management to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, technical bids, and equipment datasheets for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor evaluations and technical clarifications
  • Participate in construction and commissioning phases, offering technical guidance and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical challenges and develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Colorado); ability to obtain licensure in additional states preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in EPC or similar project-based engineering environments
  • Strong expertise in rotating equipment and pressure vessel design and specification
  • Solid understanding of process conditions (pressure, temperature, flow, materials) and their impact on mechanical system performance
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience reviewing and approving engineering deliverables and vendor documentation
