### Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the installation and maintenance of advanced metrology solutions across global production sites.
- Provide expert guidance on CMMs, optical and probing systems, and automated inspection technologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in high-precision metrology, surface measurement, and calibration.
- Maintain and evaluate metrology equipment to ensure precision and adherence to standards.
- Formulate technical strategies to bolster quality, efficiency, and operational objectives through metrology.
- Manage all phases of capital equipment initiatives including planning, sourcing, and deployment.
- Conduct benchmarking studies to guide process improvements and cost reduction strategies.
- Utilize statistical analysis to enhance measurement system quality and process effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on efficiency, safety, and process optimization.
- Provide global manufacturing facility support through analysis and implementation of new practices.
- Standardize measurement practices by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Execute multiple technical projects using project management tools and methods efficiently.
- Train and support engineering and quality teams on measurement systems.
### Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Over seven years of experience in metrology, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
- Proficient in CMM programming and maintenance.
- Excellent grasp of GD&T and metrology standards.
- Experience with advanced optical systems and laser scanning technologies.
- Strong background in statistical methods, process capability, and root cause analysis.
- Competency with analytical tools such as JMP.
- Proven success in overseeing capital projects and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work across global teams and support multiple sites.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities suitable for diverse work environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally.
