Principals support investment strategy execution, deal sourcing, and portfolio oversight. These roles involve leading portions of the investment lifecycle, including evaluation, diligence, structuring, and execution of investment opportunities. Principals work closely with senior leadership and investment committees to guide portfolio performance and fund growth.
These roles often involve collaboration with investment teams, operations, finance, and strategic partners, while providing exposure to senior decision-making and fund strategy execution.
Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
Lead financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
Manage and coordinate due diligence efforts across financial, operational, market, and strategic dimensions
Conduct industry research, competitive benchmarking, and market mapping
Support portfolio construction, risk management, and capital deployment decisions
Prepare investment memoranda, reports, and presentations for investment committees and senior leadership
Mentor junior investment team members and provide guidance on deal execution and portfolio monitoring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
Understanding of financial analysis, valuation, portfolio management, and investment strategy concepts
Experience in private equity, venture capital, asset management, investment banking, or corporate development (preferred but not required)
Demonstrated analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Interest in markets, investing, and long-term fund strategy
