Outcomes you will drive
Deliver custom automation systems from concept and design through machine build, runoff, on‑site installation, and go‑live.
Develop structured, maintainable PLC code; intuitive HMI interfaces; and robust robot programs, using simulation where it adds value.
Align cross‑discipline designs, ensuring clean interfaces and safe, reliable operation.
Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement with data‑driven root‑cause analysis.
Coach controls engineers via code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best‑practice adoption.
Collaborate with customers and vendors to define requirements and select right‑fit components that outperform expectations.
Advance team standards, processes, and technology adoption to raise quality and speed.
Must‑haves
5+ years of controls/automation experience with several full lifecycle project deliveries.
Strong PLC, HMI, and industrial robot programming skills.
Knowledge of motion control, safety circuits/systems, electrical schematics, and integration practices.
Track record supporting projects through commissioning and customer startup.
Exceptional troubleshooting and solution development.
Clear, confident communicator who collaborates across disciplines and with customers.
Mentor mindset and commitment to team success.
Travel availability approximately 10%–20%.
Nice to have
Robot simulation and offline programming.
Experience with FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or comparable HMI suites.
Exposure to servo drives, VFDs, vision systems, and machine safety standards.
Prior experience mentoring junior engineers.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related.
