Description As a Principal Product Manager within the Global Logistics organization, you will lead the strategy and execution of complex, high-impact product initiatives to make our inbound network the fastest, most economical, and easiest way to bring units into Amazon's network. You will work across multiple teams to define product vision, create roadmaps, and deliver solutions that delight customers and drive business growth in a business critical space. Key job responsibilities - Define and execute product strategy for complex global logistics systems that span multiple regions, business units, and technical platforms - Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring deep technical understanding and coordination across engineering, operations, and business teams - Drive architectural and technical decisions that balance scalability, performance, and operational excellence in logistics systems - Develop comprehensive business cases and secure executive buy-in for major investments in logistics technology - Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies (ML/AI, IoT, automation) to transform logistics operations and customer experiences - Create and own product roadmaps that address both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic objectives - Establish key performance metrics that align technical outcomes with business results and customer experience improvements - Influence senior leadership on strategic direction and resource allocation for critical logistics technology initiatives - Mentor product managers across the organization and elevate product management practices - Navigate complex global regulatory requirements and regional variations in logistics operations - Translate highly technical concepts between engineering teams and business stakeholders to drive alignment and effective decision-making Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience as a product manager or owner Preferred Qualifications - Experience owning technology products Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
