Job Summary (Principal Product Manager - Inventory Management):

- Own and lead the end-to-end inventory management platform supporting retail and supply chain operations.
- Drive product strategy and execution for core inventory management capabilities (including Merch Financial Planning, Demand Forecasting, Assortment Planning, Allocation, and Replenishment).
- Oversee product roadmaps, agile processes, requirements, and delivery of scalable solutions for inventory management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Inventory Management, Planning, Replenishment, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Finance, Analytics, Technology).
- Translate complex business processes into clear product strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Use data, analytics, and business metrics to shape product decisions and prioritize work.
- Deliver enterprise-scale planning, forecasting, allocation, replenishment, and inventory optimization technology solutions.
- Modernize and automate fragmented planning workflows into scalable, system-enabled capabilities.
- Manage dependencies, influence stakeholders, and lead through matrixed organizations.
- Operate effectively in ambiguity, structuring complex problems and driving alignment.
- Utilize experience with various software delivery models (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean).
- Communicate effectively and manage negotiations with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Role is hybrid, onsite in San Francisco 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday); must be local.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field required.
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, logistics, wholesale, manufacturing, or supply chain software organizations preferred.
