You will define our long-term technology roadmap, translating high-level business needs into elegant and robust hardware solutions. This role carries the ultimate technical authority for architectural decisions and requires a deep, intuitive understanding of both electromagnetic theory and practical system implementation. Your leadership will guide our technical strategy and ensure our products remain at the forefront of the industry.ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the companys long-term wireless technology roadmap in collaboration with executive leadershipArchitect novel, end-to-end wireless communication systems, from advanced simulations of digital communication blocks to hardware topologyTranslate ambiguous stakeholder and product requirements into detailed, actionable technical hardware specificationsServe as the ultimate approval authority on all major RF architectural decisions, including technology selection, frequency planning, and system feasibilityMentor senior engineers, providing expert guidance on our most complex technical challengesLead advanced research and development initiatives to explore and validate emerging wireless technologies for future productsProvide the final technical sign-off for the release of all wireless products to productionYou should have the followingMaster of Science (MSEE) required; Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred10+ years of experience in wireless systems architecture, with a proven track record of architecting and shipping complex productsRecognized expertise in electromagnetic theory, digital communication systems, and modern wireless standardsMastery of system-level simulation and analysis for predicting real-world performanceExceptional ability to bridge the gap between high-level business objectives and detailed engineering executionDemonstrated history of technical leadership, mentorship, and influencing strategic directionNice to haveAdvanced Education: A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications, Electromagnetics, or a related fieldSystem Modeling:Deep proficiency with system-level modeling tools likeMATLAB/Simulink to simulate entire end-to-end communication linksCross-Disciplinary Expertise:Strong knowledge of adjacent fields such asDigital Signal Processing (DSP), baseband algorithms, and mixed-signal IC designBusiness Acumen: Experience working with product and business leaders to perform technical feasibility studies and contribute to strategic technology roadmappingUS Salary Range$150,000 - $225,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
