**Job Description** The Oracle Health & Application Infrastructure division pioneers' innovation in healthcare through AI. Within Oracle Health & Application Infrastructure, the Clinical Digital Assistant (CDA) team is at the forefront of this transformation. We are developing a next-generation platform for healthcare applications, harnessing advancements in generative AI technologies and OCI's cloud-native AI/ML and data infrastructure. This platform introduces capabilities such as conversational search, voice-assisted applications, summarization, semantic search, and RAG, redefining healthcare experiences for both patients and clinicians. As Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the data platform for CDA. If you're passionate about revolutionizing patient care and want to be at the forefront of healthcare technology, join us at Oracle Health & Application Infrastructure and make a meaningful difference in global healthcare. **Responsibilities** Qualifications BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent 6+ years of relevant software development experience Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Python or similar object-oriented languages for backend development Strong Software Engineering fundamentals, proficiency in data structures & algorithms, Restful services & Microservice architecture Hands on experience building cloud native services on cloud platforms like OCI, Azure, GCP. Data architecture and design patterns including experience with database design, data modeling, data analytics, metadata management and data-access controls Experience with Oracle Database, Search technologies like Opensearch, Pinecone and Oracle Golden Gate Replication Data pipeline and Orchestration, including experience with ETL/ELT tools, data processing frameworks like Kafka, Flink, RabbitMQ Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices Experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations) Technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers Disclaimer: **Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.** **Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only** US: Hiring Range in USD from: $99,600 to $223,400 per annum.
