Principal Sourcing TPM

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Amazon Leo Hardware Supply Chain team is seeking a Principal Sourcing TPM to drive technical manufacturing and supply chain operations for hardware assemblies destined for our satellites.

The successful candidate will manage contract manufacturers end-to-end production processes while maintaining focus on quality and delivery requirements.

Key job responsibilities: • Will support management of contract manufacturers end-to-end production process for assigned hardware assemblies • Ensure on-time delivery to meet Amazon Leos production rate requirements • Drive production planning and execution aligned with cross-functional priorities • Measure, Control and Improve capacity, quality, manufacturing rate/processes, and delivery KPIs at contract manufacturers • Lead technical deep dives to resolve manufacturing blockers and constraints • Balance development and engineering needs to minimize production impacts • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks • Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and reporting systems • Report status to senior leadership in a clear and succinct manner • Develop and implement best practices within the team while ingesting and replicating best practices from other teams • Guide, coach, and develop other members of the supply chain management team • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as required
