BlueWave is hiring a Principal Steam Turbine Engineer for a utilities and power generation client with headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a Principal Steam Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Job Description:
Act as the lead engineer/subject matter expert for managing steam turbine fleet assets
Help with troubleshooting efforts of assets and equipment in fleet
Lead RCA to provide suggestions on how to fix or improve assets
Lead outage planning and support efforts
Partner closely with OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
Support young engineers on the team
Travel to sites periodically, up to 30% a year maximum
Good communication skills and presentation skills are a must
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
8-10+ years of experience in engineering
Must have hands-on steam turbine experience
