As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll orchestrate end-to-end product launches for Amazon Connect's cloud-based contact center technology that leverages Artificial Intelligence to provide engaging, dynamic, and personal customer service experiences. You'll coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams both within and outside of Amazon Connect, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring successful product delivery from conception through beta testing to full market launch. Key job responsibilities - Program Management: - Develop and maintain comprehensive product launch schedules and roadmaps - Create and track program milestones, dependencies, and critical paths - Identify and manage risks, creating mitigation strategies proactively - Lead cross-functional meetings and drive decision-making processes - Product Launch Management - Orchestrate end-to-end product launch activities across all departments - Coordinate launch materials, and customer-facing collateral - Establish launch metrics and track success criteria - Beta Program Management - Design and execute beta programs with key customers - Collect and analyze feedback from beta participants - Manage beta customer relationships and expectations - Translate beta insights into actionable product improvements - Stakeholder Management - Maintain clear communication channels with internal teams and external partners - Create and distribute regular status updates to all stakeholders - Align sales and marketing teams on product positioning and timing - Work with customer success teams to ensure smooth customer adoption A day in the life Your day begins with a cross-team engineering sync where you coordinate development priorities between Amazon Connect and partner teams. Throughout the day, you'll analyze beta program feedback, refine product requirements, and conduct stakeholder meetings to align teams on upcoming launch milestones. You'll collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges, prepare executive updates on program status, and work with customer success teams to ensure seamless adoption pathways for new features. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
