Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Technology Architect Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud, Microservices, API Management, and DevOps to join our client's team in Dallas, TX. This is an onsite opportunity for local candidates who possess strong experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application deployment. In this role, you will architect scalable cloud environments, automate infrastructure provisioning, optimize deployment pipelines, and ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence across enterprise applications. Experience with modern AI-enabled cloud platforms and microservices-based architectures is highly desirable.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Solution Architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (mandatory).
Experience with AWS cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture and API Management.
Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar automation tools.
Expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
Strong SQL and Python skills with experience supporting data analytics and reporting solutions.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with AI-enabled cloud solutions and intelligent automation.
Exposure to Generative AI, cloud-based AI services, or machine learning integrations.
Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated application deployment and release management.
Architect and support microservices-based applications and API management solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor cloud environments, perform performance tuning, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform reliability.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise DevOps solutions.
Implement cloud governance, security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery strategies.
Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Support data analytics initiatives using SQL, Python, reporting, and dashboard development.
Evaluate and integrate AI-enabled cloud services to enhance operational capabilities where applicable.
