Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Technology Architect SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance (PM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise asset management solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA EAM/PM implementations, deep expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, and a strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, and enterprise integration.
As a Principal Technology Architect, you will provide technical leadership, define solution architecture, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing SAP EAM solutions that improve asset reliability, optimize maintenance operations, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA EAM & Plant Maintenance Architecture
- Lead the architecture, design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions.
- Design scalable and secure enterprise asset management architectures aligned with business objectives and SAP best practices.
- Drive solution design workshops and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Plant Maintenance & Asset Management
- Configure and optimize SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes, including:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Predictive Maintenance
- Maintenance Planning
- Work Order Management
- Equipment Master Data
- Functional Location Hierarchies
- Task Lists
- Maintenance Notifications
- Maintenance Plans
- Improve asset reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance through optimized maintenance strategies.
- Support end-to-end asset lifecycle management from procurement and commissioning through maintenance and retirement.
SAP Fiori & UI5 Development
- Design, develop, and customize SAP Fiori applications using the SAP UI5 framework.
- Develop user-friendly applications supporting:

- Asset Monitoring
- Technician Mobility
- Enhance user experience by implementing responsive, role-based Fiori applications aligned with SAP UX standards.
Enterprise Integration
- Design and implement seamless integration between SAP EAM and other SAP modules, including:
- Materials Management (MM)
- Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
- Finance (FI)
- Human Resources (HR)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate business processes across maintenance, procurement, finance, and workforce management.
- Ensure reliable data flow and system interoperability across enterprise applications.
Maintenance Strategy & Process Optimization
- Develop enterprise maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability and reduce operational downtime.
- Design preventive maintenance schedules and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Optimize work management processes to increase productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
- Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and industry best practices in asset management.
Technical Leadership & Solution Governance
- Provide architectural leadership and technical direction throughout SAP implementation projects.
- Mentor functional consultants, developers, and technical teams on SAP EAM and Fiori best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and code reviews.
- Establish governance standards, development guidelines, and implementation best practices.
User Training & Production Support
- Deliver expert-level training to maintenance planners, technicians, and business users.
- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and release management activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and operational guides.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions.
- Proven experience leading multiple SAP S/4HANA EAM/PM implementations, upgrades, and enterprise transformation projects.
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise asset management solutions in complex business environments.
