Description
SAP NS2 is seeking an expert-level VDI Architect to own the design and implementation of a secure, enterprise-scale Virtual Desktop Infrastructure supporting both Windows and Linux environments. This individual will serve as the architectural authority, advising stakeholders while leading installation, optimization, and long-term platform strategy.
Current State:
The organization requires an enterprise VDI architecture capable of supporting secure remote users while maintaining scalability, performance, and compliance.
They need an experienced architect who has previously designed large VDI environments rather than simply administering existing platforms.
Ownership
Design enterprise VDI architecture
Build secure Windows and Linux virtual desktop environments
Lead installation and implementation efforts
Architect highly available and scalable infrastructure
Improve platform performance and end-user experience
Recommend technologies and architectural direction
Partner with infrastructure engineers
Work closely with security teams
Support application integration requirements
Drive continuous improvements across the VDI environment
