Your challenge

• Own vendor selection and qualification, ensuring robust documentation for change notifications, audits, corrective actions, and supplier scorecards.
• Design supplier material control plans embedded in product qualification to safeguard incoming quality.
• Act as the lead investigator for supplier-caused manufacturing issues—driving root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Travel to supplier sites to troubleshoot performance concerns and prevent recurrence.
• Advise the product regulatory committee on recommended field actions when risk warrants escalation.
• Lead Kaizen workshops that simplify processes, reduce variation, implement lean practices, and remove waste to elevate efficiency and engagement.

Where you’ll work

This is an on-site position in Chaska, MN, within the Instrument Supplier Quality team, reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager, Instrument Quality.

What you’ll need

• A scientific degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar).
• 5+ years of quality experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a master’s degree; or a doctoral degree.

What sets you apart

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Experience with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 14971.
