Are you a seasoned business development or enterprise sales leader with deep expertise in the video game industry and a track record of driving adoption of transformative technologies?

AWS provides industry-leading services and solutions for video games, including multi-player game hosting and cloud streaming at global scale. We help developers, studios, and publishers build, scale, and deliver exceptional gaming experiences worldwide. Our technology powers some of the world's biggest games.

As a Principal Worldwide Visual Computing GTM Specialist for GameTech, you own global go-to-market strategy for AWS GameTech services, as well as the end-to-end sales cycle in your geography. You will identify and develop relationships with high-potential customers, gather requirements to influence product roadmaps, and drive adoption of GameTech services across gaming and adjacent industries.

The ideal candidate combines deep video game industry expertise with proven ability to drive enterprise adoption at scale. You are a recognized thought leader with executive-level relationships, a technical foundation in video games, and demonstrated success formulating GTM strategies that accelerate product growth. You operate with high independence, influence cross-functional teams globally, and communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic GTM initiatives across AWS groups and international stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic relationships with game developers, studios, publishers, and partners to drive adoption of AWS Game Tech services and related AWS products.
  • Educate customers and industry organizations on AWS Game Tech solutions, leveraging AWS go-to-market programs to accelerate growth.
  • Set vision, strategy, and deliver results in ambiguous business scenarios. Apply expert judgment to distill diverse inputs and design long-term solutions at scale.
  • Operate with high independence on complex problems. Determine resource allocation, remove bottlenecks, and create scalable mechanisms (workshops, playbooks, technical forums) that enable others to drive Game Tech growth.
  • Deliver data-driven business reviews to senior leadership. Write clear, well-argued documents for proposals and initiatives. Own Game Tech inputs into Amazon's Operational Planning (OP) documents.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate customer requirements and market signals into product roadmap priorities.
  • Drive thought leadership through demos, blogs, webinars, and representation at industry conferences and events.
  • Serve as a key member of the worldwide Visual Computing team, positioning Game Tech within the broader Visual Computing and AWS Media & Entertainment strategy.

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
