Description
This position is part of our Auxiliary Services department and has primary responsibility for shipping and receiving mail, operating copiers and utilizing finishing equipment in print production. This position provides excellent customer service while completing work assignments. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services. This is not a remote position.

Starting pay for this position is $20.00-23.00/hour. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an overtime eligible position on grade 4.
Who You Are
You have been commended at work for being friendly and for having excellent customer service
You are able to spend most of the day standing including a significant amount of time lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
You can juggle multiple detailed tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service
You have some experience with POS, inventory management, printers or other hardware and software that requires troubleshooting and problem solving
You are self-aware and comfortable working on teams with varying gender, racial, socio-economic, ability, sexual orientation, and cultural identities
You enjoy and take pride in creating and seeing your finished work
You are organized, can work independently and proactively maintain an orderly and clean work area
You are flexible and able to adjust your priorities based on work need
You are able to work with a wide variety of people; you are interested in providing guidance and supervision as needed to student employees
You enjoy coming up with ways to improve processes/procedures
You are comfortable doing basic math with the aid of a calculator or other tools
What You'll Do
Receive and distribute campus mail and packages
Transport mail and packages using Reed vehicle to/from on and off campus locations
Prepare outgoing mail and package shipments including USPS permit mailings and UPS and FedEx shipments to both domestic and international recipients
Process First Class and Periodical bulk mailings
Maintain and update student box assignment lists
Provide print and or mail room customer service
Complete printing and copying projects as assigned
Help lead student employees including onboarding and training
Maintain addresses and mail forwarding databases
Minimum Qualifications
Some customer service experience including familiarity with POS systems
