Digital Print Operator
Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $17.50
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Overtime: Extended hours and weekends may be required based on production needs

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to operate digital printing equipment in a production environment. This position is responsible for setting up print jobs, operating digital presses, monitoring print quality, maintaining production records, and ensuring printed materials meet customer specifications and production standards.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating cutsheet toner and inkjet printers, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate multiple machines while meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review job orders for print quantities, paper specifications, colors, and special instructions.
- Operate digital printing equipment, including Xerox, Canon, and ColorStream 3900 printers.
- Set up print files, load paper stock, and prepare materials for production.
- Inspect print samples throughout production and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Operate multiple printing machines simultaneously as needed.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate job records.
- Monitor print speed, output quality, and production requirements.
- Maintain adequate supplies and gather materials required for each job.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and assist with routine production issues.
- Follow quality control procedures, training requirements, and applicable ISO 9001 standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of digital printing experience.
- At least 3 years of experience operating cutsheet toner and inkjet printers.
- Basic computer skills, including opening, closing, and printing electronic files.
- Ability to read and understand job tickets and written instructions.
- Basic measurement skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to print quality.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 40–50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift, excluding breaks, and move throughout the production facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with tight printing tolerances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good color vision and the ability to distinguish color variations.
- Experience operating multiple digital presses in a high-volume production environment.
Work Schedule and Environment
- Shift: Second shift, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
- Pay: $17.50
- Workdays: Monday through Friday.
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas.
- Overtime: Extended shifts and weekends may be required according to production schedules.
- Work Environment: Manufacturing and digital print production facility requiring regular machinery operation, material handling, and quality inspections.
