Job Title: Print Production Level 1 Location: Mobile, AL Job Type: Contract Hourly Consultant Hours: 1st shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday 2nd shift: 1:00pm to 10:00pm Monday-Friday Pay: $16/hr Essential Functions: Receive, review, and electronically log customer print and production requests. Perform document assembly, finishing, and other routine print production tasks to meet customer requirements. Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers, and other document finishing devices. Operate basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs to ensure output meets customer expectations. Sort, scan, and convert hardcopy documents into digital formats using standard software applications. Estimate, schedule, track, and maintain production jobs for current and future customer use, including file backup and document storage. Wrap, pack, label, and ship completed production materials. Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, packages, and accountable mail. Perform mail delivery and courier duties as requested. Apply asset tags to office equipment and update inventory databases. Track office equipment moves, additions, and changes at customer locations. Collect and submit equipment meter readings. Maintain production reports, billing logs, and inventory records. Restock and distribute office and production supplies as needed. Clean equipment and perform routine operator maintenance. Report equipment issues and coordinate service requests using designated software applications. Troubleshoot routine production issues to ensure timely completion of customer requests. Operate low- to mid-volume printers and copiers while maintaining production schedules. Follow established procedures while maintaining a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment. Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including keyboard, mouse, and general PC navigation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to use internet browsers and web-based applications. Ability to send and receive emails, locate, open, save, and organize electronic documents. Accurate data entry skills. Ability to print documents using preconfigured printers. Basic mathematical skills, including multiplication, division, and percentages. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills with a professional and dependable work ethic. Ability to prioritize routine tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required. Previous experience in print production, mail services, records management, or office support is preferred. Post-secondary technology training or related work experience is preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
