Description:

Location: Cleveland, OH
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $24.36/hour

Essential Functions:

  • Operate digital printing, color production, and high-volume print equipment.

  • Receive, review, and electronically log customer print and production requests.

  • Produce, process, and distribute printed materials according to customer specifications.

  • Operate standard finishing equipment including paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers, folding, and inserting mail equipment.

  • Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

  • Estimate, schedule, track, and prioritize incoming production jobs.

  • Optimize document design for quality reproduction and print output.

  • Sort, scan, and convert hardcopy materials into digital formats using standard software applications.

  • Inspect electronic files for formatting issues, image resolution, image registration, and font compatibility.

  • Integrate variable data files into print templates and manage file conversions as needed.

  • Track, store, and back up production files for future customer use.

  • Operate office equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and related production devices.

  • Apply asset tags to office equipment and maintain accurate asset tracking databases.

  • Coordinate equipment moves, additions, and changes at customer locations.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.

  • Process incoming and outgoing faxes and maintain billing documentation.

  • Collect and submit equipment meter readings and maintain production reporting logs.

  • Respond to equipment issues by coordinating with service personnel and third-party vendors.

  • Troubleshoot production challenges to meet output, delivery, and customer requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records for billing, job tracking, and operational reporting.

  • Provide basic training and support to customer end-users on equipment operation.

  • Support the procurement of customer supplies and services through Xerox and third-party vendors.

  • Assist with the development and improvement of work processes and production templates.

  • Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Skills:

  • Proficient computer skills and functional knowledge of PC operations, including keyboard, mouse, file management, and network resources.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to:

    • Create and manage spreadsheets.

    • Utilize standard formulas and functions.

    • Sort, filter, and create graphs.

    • Import and export data.

    • Embed files within applications.

    • Transfer data between Word and Excel.

  • Experience navigating web browsers, internet resources, and intranet applications.

  • Ability to send and receive email, save and retrieve files, and perform accurate data entry.

  • Knowledge of network-connected devices including printers, drives, and shared resources.

  • Basic mathematical skills including multiplication, division, percentages, and calculations.

  • Strong customer service orientation with professional communication skills.

  • Demonstrated business maturity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support coworkers when needed.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment.

  • Experience operating production print equipment, copiers, scanners, or related office technology preferred.

  • Experience working in a print production, mailroom, records management, or document services environment is highly desirable.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Post-secondary technology training or relevant technical experience required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
