Description

Job Title: Print Production Level 3 Location: Golden Valley, MN Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: $18.12 - $21.00 Pay: 7:00AM - 3:30 PM CST Essential Functions: Operate digital printing, color production, and high-volume print/copy equipment to meet customer requirements. Receive, review, electronically log, estimate, schedule, and track incoming print production jobs. Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run to ensure accuracy and quality standards. Operate finishing equipment including paper cutters, laminators, hole punchers, folders, inserters, and other bindery equipment. Prepare, convert, scan, and index hardcopy and electronic files for print and digital distribution. Inspect print files for issues such as fonts, image resolution, formatting, and registration before production. Integrate variable data files into print templates as required. Track, archive, back up, and store customer jobs for future reuse. Apply asset tags to office equipment and maintain accurate asset databases. Coordinate office equipment moves, additions, and changes at customer locations. Perform basic operator maintenance and cleaning on production equipment. Collect equipment meter readings and maintain production and billing logs. Process incoming and outgoing fax communications and maintain billing records. Respond to equipment issues by collecting diagnostic information and coordinating service with Xerox or third-party vendors. Support customer supply and service requests as needed. Provide basic training to customer end-users on production equipment. Assist in developing work processes, templates, and operational improvements. Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform additional production and customer support duties as assigned. Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to create spreadsheets, apply formulas, sort/filter data, create graphs, import/export information, and embed files. Comfortable navigating web-based applications, email systems, and network resources. Ability to locate and manage network drives, files, and printers. Strong data entry and document management skills. Basic understanding of file conversion and digital document preparation. Working knowledge of print production workflows and document optimization. Basic mathematical skills, including multiplication, division, and percentages. Ability to troubleshoot production issues and coordinate equipment service. Demonstrated professionalism, business maturity, and attention to detail. Ability to coach and mentor team members when needed. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment. Previous experience operating digital print production and finishing equipment preferred. Experience with high-volume print operations, document imaging, mail processing, or production services is highly desirable. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary technical training or equivalent work experience in print production, office technology, or a related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
