Job Description: GPS has a client looking for a strong candidate for a full-time Print Designer / Print Production Operator in their printshop dept, and given their growth in printing services, they need someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) for design and file preparation
Fix supplied files and impose multi-up layouts for print production
Operate digital production equipment including Digital Toner Presses, Digital Ink-Jet Presses, and Digital Cutters
Perform light bindery and finishing work
Provide customer service via in-person interactions, email, and phone
Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications:
Understanding with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures (ISO-certified environment)
Strong attention to detail and overall sense of quality
Comfortable operating light and large-format production machinery
Comfortable with basic math.
