About the Role:
As a Print Production Operator IV, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining various printing equipment to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality printed materials. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain digital, offset, and large-format printing equipment to produce materials according to job specifications.
Prepare and inspect print files for accuracy, ensuring proper formatting and color management.
Monitor print jobs for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging of printed materials.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Manage inventory of printing supplies, including paper, ink, and other consumables, to prevent production delays.
Collaborate with design and prepress teams to ensure seamless workflow and address any production issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document production activities and maintain accurate records of print jobs and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a print production environment, with proficiency in operating various printing equipment.
Strong understanding of print production processes, color theory, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret job specifications and work orders.
Proficient in using print-related software and tools
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
"The pay range for this position starts at $18.00; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
