OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Printed Circuit Board Design Assistant at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for aiding Printed Circuit Board Designers and eCAD Librarians in creating efficient Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs.Essential FunctionsProduces and maintains all documentation and engineering drawings for PCB designsIncorporates Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) into PCB designs as assignedCreates printed circuit board documentation using Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolsMay perform eCAD Librarian support tasksBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMust have completed coursework and/or possess experience with PCB CAD and/or Mechanical CAD applications or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated ability to follow specific, detailed instructions and apply learned knowledgeMust demonstrate proficiency using personal computers and Microsoft Office applicationsDesired QualificationsGeneral knowledge of PCB Design and/or PCB manufacturing processesGeneral knowledge of electronic components and/or electronic circuits operation theoryAbility to read schematicsGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
