  • The DOJ- NAC Office is seeking a Printing Equipment Operator to provide support services to the United States Department of Justice.
  • Major responsibilities include operating production print equipment, bindery and providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties

Job Duty

Operates production printing equipment to produce instructional material into comprehensive training manuals, as well as providing supplemental handouts. Provides training materials in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty

Provide exceptional customer service to teams, faculty, and program participants; provide, clarify, and exchange information on production print timelines, proofing, and policy, regulations and procedures. Works with OLE staff to obtain their cooperation in meeting deadlines, which may include guidance on formatting, content, or preparation of training materials.

Proofing, editing, and making last-minute additions/deletions. Proofing of all output (page by page) to ensure equipment/operator accuracy.

Inventory, stock room, and lifting (up to 60 lbs.)

Operates a multitude of bindery equipment to include but not limited to comb binder, perfect binder, tape binder, cutter, folder, drill press, and laminator. Publication shipping and receiving.

Provide technical support for all printing and bindery equipment. Enforce all contractual support for technical services (maintenance, repairs, equipment parts, contracted supplies, consumables, etc.) Frequently on the phone with technical support for updates and technical assistance. Maintain all inventories for contracted and non-contracted supplies.

Scanning, downloading, merging, and incorporating all necessary materials for each course. Provision course materials on thumb drives. Provides thumb drive duplication services for courses and mass mail outs.
