Made Possible.\n \nPRINTING PRESS FEEDER JOB SUMMARY: Apprentice to the pressman, assisting in all aspects to make sure the job runs smoothly. They understand and align business operations and the Department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives. Line of progression position.\n \nPrimary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:\n\n Feed sheets to printing press\n Mechanical adjustments\n Pull and push steel rods between loads\n Assist Asst. Press Operator when needed.\n Operate hand jack and electric pallet jack.\n Other duties assigned as needed.\n \nBACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:\n\n Manufacturing experience preferred\n Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent attendance, be able to work independently and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \n \nSKILLS:\n\n LANGUAGE SKILLS\n Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. \n \n\n MATHEMATICAL SKILLS\n Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\n \n\n REASONING ABILITY\n Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n \n\n MECHANICAL\n CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\n Company issued Fork Truck Operator's License\n \n\n \nEDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:\n\n High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.\n \nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\n SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:\n Schedules can be up to 12-hour shifts Mondays \u2013 Sundays (particularly if mode/continuous run schedule).
