Press Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Press Operator for a company based in West Columbia, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running large machines that print text and images on materials like paper, or shape and cut parts on manufacturing. 

 

Pay Rate 
$25 per hour

 

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday

7:00am-3:30pm

 

 Duties and Responsibilities 
• Machine Set up

• Quality Control

• Monitor and Maintenance

• Safety and cleanup  

 

 

Press Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• Must be 18 years if age or older 

• Must have 1-3 years of experience 

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Attention to detail: Spotting errors, misalignments, and machine flaws

• Understanding of digital or mechanical press controls and basic troubleshooting

• Measurement skills: using rulers and math accurately to align and size print jobs.
