Summary:

The MAPS Director is responsible for all facets of the operation for the WellStar Integrated Patient Transport Management Program (IPTMP). The MAPS Director will be the primary liaison between Wellstar, Metro Atlanta, Priority and the other ancillary transportation providers. The MAPS Director has full oversight and fiduciary responsibilities of the IPTMP. This position reports directly to the MAAS CEO and the Priority SE Regional President which will be collectively know as the MAPS Executive Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervises the day-to-day operation of all MAPS employees in the unified Wellstar Transfer Command Center
• Ensure MAPS Transfer Command Center employees have the required equipment to perform the essential functions of their assigned duties.
• Manage the MAPS Command Center staff positions scheduled with the Command Center and ensure any call outs or no shows are filled promptly.
• Responsible for evaluating the annual performance of all MAPS employees assigned to him/her and are forwarded to HR.
• Ensure all MAPS employees consistently adhere to MAPS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives and standards in all areas to include, but not limited to, personal appearance, workspace cleanliness, proper unit utilization, adherence to compliance metrics, excellent customer service.
• Serves as liaison between Wellstar, Metro Atlanta Ambulance, Priority Ambulance and the other vetted ancillary transportation providers.
• Works directly with the StatCall IT support and customer service team. This will include, but not limited to, making sure all compliance metrics are reported in a timely manner, any facilities issues with StatCall are reported and resolved in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Responsible for investigating and documenting all facility complaints regarding compliance, customer service, or any other issues that may arise. Director will provide prompt and transparent feedback directly to the complainant and will advise MAPS Executive team of any complaint.
• Responsible for the prompt and accurate invoice of the monthly service fee to Wellstar.
• Responsible for the receiving, tracking, validation and paying of all invoices from the ancillary ambulance providers.
• Responsible for providing WellStar are compliance reports as set forth in the contract.

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 5 years in a management level position.
• Successful completion of panel interview

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of MAPS Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
• Knowledge of StatCall
• Knowledge of Zoll CAD to include, but not limited to, call intaking, call dispatching, call reassignment, etc.

Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand medical terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports, and correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions regarding patient care, MAPS operations and other customer service issues.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer skills including Windows 11, Office 365 and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and train subordinates effectively through positive attitude and compassion.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to represent MAPS and other team members as an EMS professional.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in high level meetings with executive level stakeholders and hospital administrators.

Requirements:

• Required to be available for any issues that may arise.
• Required to maintain a flexible schedule.
• Required to maintain a file free of written disciplinary actions
