Description
Citizens Private Bank is seeking a proactive, highly organized Client Relations Associate to support a Relationship Management Team, within our San Francisco office. The Client Relations Associate (CRA) plays a critical role in driving new business and deepening client relationships by directly supporting Relationship Managers (RMs). The CRA helps ensure an exceptional client experience by monitoring key milestones, identifying opportunities, and managing core workflows that support business development. This role is responsible for managing the client onboarding experience, supporting prospect outreach, monitoring client engagement, marketing coordination, and general administrative activities.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients and prospects to maintain engagement and prevent lost momentum.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to execute consistent, high-quality outreach that supports prospect to client conversion and retention.
- Monitor client activity using internal reporting tools, identifying trends or changes that may indicate opportunities for account deepening or follow on conversations.
- Solve client service inquiries in a timely manner ensuring a positive client experience.
- Assist with marketing efforts by preparing and distributing approved marketing materials and coordinating with internal marketing partners.
- Supporting the execution of client/prospect events, including lunches, hosted events, and other gatherings. Manage invitation lists, RSVPs, logistics, and post event follow up coordination.
- Provide comprehensive, day-to-day administrative support to the Relationship Manager Team, expense reporting, general assistance, coordinating meetings, and events (on‑site and off‑site), preparing presentation materials, and follow‑up action items.
- Build, document, and maintain repeatable processes and templates to improve efficiency and consistency for ongoing business and client tasks.
- Take meeting notes, track deliverables, and follow up on action items to ensure priorities stay on track.
- Manage office logistics, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment inventory, and handling routine administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
Qualifications, Education, Skills
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or a client‑focused operational support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate confidently in a sophisticated, high‑touch Private Bank environment.
- Demonstrated client focus, learning agility, resilience, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, time‑management, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast‑paced team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Concur (or similar tools).
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per week: 40
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Flexible work: 4 days in office requirement (101 California St. Location). Opportunity to work from home one day per week once acclimated
Pay Transparency
- The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
