Position Summary:

The Private Banker Sales Associate will support a select team of Senior Private Bankers in delivering exceptional client experience to high-net-worth clients. This role focuses on client onboarding, assisting Private Bankers in managing client relationships, and administrative and servicing support to ensure a seamless client experience. The Associate will work closely with the Senior Private Bankers to maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the operational efficiency of the Private Banking team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Private Bankers in managing client relationships, including managing their calendar, scheduling client meetings, and preparing materials for client meetings/interactions
  • Assisting DDI with interest rate bumps, flexing accounts, fee reversals, and other various tasks
  • Ensure onboarding new clients is smooth, efficient and a done with the Six Diamond experience
  • Assist by collecting identification, appropriate new account documentation and working with Branch Associates to get the accounts opened accurately, efficiently, and timely
  • Coordinate with the client to ensure and verify business entity documents are current, i.e. Secretary of State website, statement of information is current, and if no follow-through is required with the client
  • Post-onboarding: Ensure accounts are properly opened and set up
  • Assist clients in signing up for online banking, ordering checks, mobile banking, insure account is funded, automatic payments set up, set up bill pay, ACH payments etc. – follow up with client to ensure proper set up and is completed
  • Post-onboarding for Treasury Management Services: Work hand-in-hand with the Business Services and Cash Management teams to ensure all services are set up in a timely manner
  • Set expectations/SLA up front with clients and adhere to those timelines
  • Stay on top of all paperwork and ensure DocuSign is completed
  • Assist existing Business clients by updating their accounts
  • Changing/updating signers, changing/updating the title of accounts, adding new accounts to existing Treasury Management services i.e. RDC, wires, ACH etc.
  • Review daily and reach out to clients on non-sufficient funds/non-post/returns items and ensure the client is taken care of
  • Assist the Private Banker in reaching out to engage, retain, and grow clients that are between $250,000 - $500,000 that were grandfathered into the portfolio
  • Follow up/reach out to CD matured clients to renew and deepen relationships
  • Sort clients in portfolio that need more touches to deepen relationship
  • Assist in keeping clients up to date on various promotions
  • Assist with letter bank
  • Maintain and update account plans in Enact
  • Assist with updating the portfolio ensuring accounts are linked and merged as appropriate
  • Becomes the point of contact and support clients when the Private Banker is out of the office
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and ability to deliver excellent service to internal business partners and clients
  • Ability to handle competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly excel, word and power point
  • Eagerness to learn about private banking and wealth management

Salary Range:

The hiring salary range is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made in consideration of these factors and in alignment with Fremont Bank’s compensation philosophy.
