Private Capital Associates support investment teams and fund operations by assisting with deal analysis, portfolio monitoring, and investor reporting. The role blends financial modeling, capital market knowledge, and operational support in a dynamic, private capital environment.
This position works closely with investment professionals, portfolio managers, and investor relations teams to ensure smooth execution of investment strategies and capital deployment.
Conduct financial and operational analysis on prospective investments and portfolio companies
Support deal execution by preparing investment materials, models, and due diligence documentation
Assist in portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with investor relations to support fundraising and LP reporting
Build and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and models for portfolio and investment insights
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the private capital portfolio
Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management and investors
Support fund operations, compliance, and reporting requirements as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of private capital markets, investment structures, and fund operations
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, or investment banking preferred
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools a plus
