A leading financial services firm, private equity platform, or investment bank may seek a Private Capital Fund Analyst to support fund structuring, capital raising, and portfolio advisory. This role is ideal for candidates seeking rigorous analytical work, exposure to private capital transactions, and fund-level investment insights, with structured professional development in fund management, deal execution, and investor relations.
Build and maintain financial models for private capital funds, portfolio companies, and co-investment structures (e.g., NAV, cash flows, IRR, waterfall models)
Conduct industry research, market benchmarking, and fund performance analysis
Support fundraising, capital deployment, and co-investment transactions
Prepare investor presentations, subscription/redemption reports, and investment memoranda
Assist with due diligence, fund audits, and investor reporting
Collaborate with fund managers, investment bankers, and portfolio teams across capital and deal workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and fund performance analysis
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in banking, private equity, fund advisory, asset management, or FP&A is beneficial
