Private Capital Structuring Associates support senior investment professionals in designing, analyzing, and executing customized private capital transactions. The role blends financial modeling, deal structuring, and market analysis to develop capital solutions that meet investor return objectives and borrower or issuer needs.
These roles involve close collaboration with investment teams, legal counsel, tax advisors, portfolio managers, and external counterparties throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Support the structuring and execution of private equity, private credit, and hybrid capital transactions
Build and analyze detailed financial models to evaluate cash flows, returns, and downside risk
Assess deal terms including capital structure, covenants, pricing, and investor protections
Conduct due diligence on issuers, assets, sponsors, and counterparties
Analyze market conditions, comparable transactions, and capital markets trends
Assist in negotiating transaction documentation in coordination with legal and senior team members
Prepare investment memoranda, term sheets, and committee materials
Support transaction closing, funding mechanics, and post-close monitoring
Track portfolio exposure, performance, and compliance with investment mandates
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of private capital markets, capital structures, and deal mechanics
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, valuation, or transaction execution (preferred)
Familiarity with private equity, private credit, structured finance, or alternative investments
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, SQL, or modeling tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a transaction-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated interest in private markets, deal structuring, and complex investments
