Position Overview

Canopy Wellness is seeking an experienced and creative Private Chef to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for clients, guests, and staff. This individual will play a critical role in creating a wellness-focused dining experience by designing menus that accommodate dietary restrictions, nutritional goals, and individual preferences. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal planning, high-volume preparation, and luxury hospitality or private culinary services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and specialty meals
  • Design menus aligned with wellness-focused and nutritional standards
  • Accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and physician-directed meal plans
  • Source ingredients and maintain food inventory
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with special events, retreats, and catered functions
  • Work collaboratively with wellness and clinical staff to support client nutrition goals

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a private chef, executive chef, or culinary professional
  • Knowledge of nutrition and specialty diets preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Food safety certifications preferred
